Artist VLAD Stankovic working with Preen Design in Los Angeles designed these subtle and beautiful animated pieces reminiscent of vintage scientific illustrations. Unlike many loud chaotic pieces the frame to frame changes are minimal and soft, adding to the magic of the work. 9’ x 3’ tiled lenticular on DP 28 LPI.
SFMOMA Photo Exhibit
Laser cut lenticular text for San Francisco Museum of Modern Art Exhibition “Don’t! Photography and the Art of Mistakes”. SFMOMA wanted signage where some of the letters changed color to match the red wall to create two different words. Parallax Printing worked with the museum to match the color of their wall so that the intended letters disappeared at certain viewing angles. Photo shows one of three sets of letters produced for the exhibition, printed on Microlens 20 LPI.
Artist Joel Swanson in Denver
Synchronized lenticular panels produced for artist Joel Swanson’s Denver Convention Center Installation. The multi-panel lenticular changes the word that is seen dependent upon the angle of viewing, thereby alternating between TRULY and RURAL.. 17’ x 4’ printed on Microlens 20 LPI
Artist Nick Cave in Chicago
Twelve large backlit lenticulars created as part of artist Nick Cave’s multimodal permanent installation at the Garfield Station in Chicago. All areas of the station were transformed including the street level entrance which featured life size lenticular versions of Cave’s popular Sound Suit sculptures. Printed on Microlens 20 LPI with backlit film.
Walking Dead in NYC
Lenticular poster campaign for AMC’s 9th season of the Walking Dead. 48” x 72” posters were placed throughout the New York City subway system. Concerns that the posters might be too disturbing for transit riders were narrowly avoided to the great enthusiasm of fans. Printed on Pacur 40 LPI.
Jonah Hill in Nexflix Series Maniac
Multiple lenticular assets created for the Netflix miniseries Maniac. Actor Jonah Hill has a scene where he uses the service AdBuddy in exchange for a train ride and is shown a series of lenticular advertisements. A special nonconforming project for us but how could we resist?

36x72” double sided lenticular standees for Simon Property Group, the largest shopping mall operator in the US. Printed on Pacur 40 LPI, mounted to 1/2 foam core.

One of two large multi-directional tiled prints for ET Global Exhibit Group. Client wanted the figures to appear life size in the prints and since lenticular sheets come in 4x8’ sheets this piece required tiling in both the width and height which is extremely challenging. Printed on Microlens 20 LPI, mounted to 3mm ACP.
Spatial Patterns of Lightweight Landscapes
This project, for the University of Michigan Taubman College's Research Through Making (RTM) Program, uses motion lenticular to illustrate transformation in complex structures. The lenticulars were made from 3D rendered objects and feature multiple frames of animation that convey the range of motion in each structure. More info here. Printed on Microlens 40 LPI.
